The Heartland Presbytery Earthkeepers, in collaboration with the Village Presbyterian Environmental Action Network, Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, and Sustainable Sanctuaries, present the Chuck Gillam Lecture Series on Earthkeeping. This year’s lecture, “Why Environmental Justice?!,” will feature a message by the young adult organizer for Presbyterians for Earth Care, Emma Marshall.
Emma Marshall is the Young Adult Organizer for Presbyterians for Earth Care and a candidate certified ready for call in the National Capital Presbytery. She has brought together Presbyterian young adults ages 18-35 in CANOPY, the Creation Action Network of Presbyterian Young Adults. CANOPY’s mission is to be a “community of faith-filled justice-seekers, inspired by the Holy Spirit and informed by the Presbyterian tradition. We come together to advocate and act for environmental justice and creation care, magnifying our voices and power as a new generation of leaders.”
