The Heartland Presbytery Earthkeepers, in collaboration with the Village Presbyterian Environmental Action Network, present the Chuck Gillam Lecture Series on Earthkeeping. This year’s lecture, "A Call to Arms: Protecting Children from Chemicals Causing Disease," will feature author Carey Gillam as the keynote speaker.
Carey Gillam is an Investigative Journalist, Author, and expert in environmental and public health issues, currently serving as the Managing Editor of The New Lede. She was formerly the Research Director for U.S. Right to Know and has spent over 25 years uncovering the risks of chemical exposure. Carey is also the daughter of Chuck Gillam, in whose honor this lecture series is named.
