Mission & Music Trip 2022

Concert Day! We had two concert today and our music people are exhausted! Our first concert was at our host church. We started with a fellowship and Sunday school time with the congregation, then we performed our setlist and script. We shared lunch and headed out pretty quickly towards our second location, which was a church with no pumping or AC. In the 103 degree heat, this concert was definitely a challenge! However, the church had beautiful acoustics and we were treated to a buffet afterwards! It was so fun to hear stories from the Grandmas as well as try some authentic Lakota foods. They gifted the dads little goodie bags with tobacco for Fathers Day, which they explained was for prayer, not smoking. Finally, at night we took a Dream Catcher class from Burt, a great-great-grandson of Chief Spotted Tail. We start Mission work tomorrow so we are looking forward to a good nights sleep!
