Starfish Project : Workship Sunday - Starfish Project : Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church

We’ll start with a brief worship service at 9:30am.
From 10am to about noon, we’ll pursue the service opportunity described below.
At approximately noon, we will gather for Lunch and Fellowship (suggested $5 donation; maximum $20 per family).
Please sign up each person in your family for a service project and indicate whether that person will join us for lunch.
Kids are welcome at all the projects! Children under 5 are welcome in the nursery, which will be open the usual hours.

Starfish Project Plastic Bag Mats

We’ll make mats from plastic grocery bags. This is a good project for those who need a project that can be done sitting down. Project Starfish distributes these mats to unhoused individuals to ensure they won’t have to sleep on the bare ground. No experience is necessary! DONATE bags for this project. We ONLY NEED the type of bag given at Walmart is useful for this project - please don’t bring any bags that are not that size and shape. Bags can be left in the big barrel outside the sanctuary any time before October 6.
