Crafting & Fellowship Day
🧵✂️🎨 Crafting & Fellowship Day! 🎨✂️🧵
Calling all crafters, quilters, makers, and hobby enthusiasts! Join us on Saturday, July 11, in Rooms 3 & 4, West Wing, for a special Crafting & Fellowship Day at GCPC. All crafting and hobby groups are welcome! Invite a friend and create with us. The Piecemakers, our quilting/sewing group (with a mission purpose) will meet from 10am–Noon in Room 4, and the Weekend Crafters group will enjoy open crafting time from 9am–3pm in Room 3. Bring a snack to share.
Bring whatever creative project is currently on your table—quilting, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, card making, painting, sewing, beading, or any other hobby you enjoy. Stay for a couple of hours or the full day as we craft together, exchange ideas, encourage one another, and enjoy fellowship.
Whether you're an experienced maker or simply looking for a relaxed, welcoming way to connect with others, you'll find a seat at the crafting table. For questions or to let us know you're coming, contact Donna Heer (Piecemakers) or Kim Krueger (Weekend Crafters).
_____________
Piecemakers is a quilting/sewing group meets the 2nd Saturday of the month, 10am–12pm in Room 4. We use donated fabric to make charity projects, including tying quilts, Red Bag stockings and fidget lap quilts for memory care patients. No sewing skills required. Contact Donna Heer for more information.
Weekend Crafters is a group of people who enjoy fellowship and crafting and cannot attend our daytime/evening crafters groups. The group gathers periodically throughout the year for mini retreats with crafting of all kinds. Join their Facebook Group! Open to anyone ages 16+ (members and non-members). Contact Christy Soule or Kim Krueger for more information.
