Volunteer at our Road Trip VBS

Our VBS planning team is forming and we have room for more helpers. This group will meet occasionally over the next few months to put our plans together for another great VBS.  During Road Trip VBS, kids embark on a journey through the Bible, exploring stories that reveal God's presence in every aspect of life. Each day highlights a different Bible Hero, showing how God guides, protects, and provides for His people throughout their faith journeys

You'll make a great music, craft, bible story, snack, recreation, or science leader. We have a job for all willing hands at all levels. Together, we will live out our Road Trip verse: The LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Preferred area of interest - 3 areas available

VBS Planning Committee

  • We are in need of committee members to help keep us organized.  This would require a few planning meetings and some offline work prior to VBS.

VBS Decorating

  • Join a group of members who like to use their hands to create the magical atmosphere of VBS!  Projects are created at various times in the spring in small sessions, and longer sessions the week before VBS starts.

Volunteer - During the week of June 2-6 (check any or all that you can help with in the form below)

  • This position would be attending VBS with our children for 1 or more of our 5 days at VBS.  We will need to know the days you can be available (June 2 - 6)
  • This position has the option to travel with a group of children to the various activities, or to work at a given station where the children rotate through. 
  • Areas of interest available include: Music, Science, Craft, Snack, Storytime, Recreation
  • Photographers are needed for the event and will need to submit daily photos to our slideshow coordinator.
  • Assist with creating and setting up decorations.

Childcare
We will have a nursery available for volunteers who may need it. Please indicate if you will need any child care for any of our children while you volunteer for VBS.
If childcare is needed, please let us know the age and number of children.
Photographer - Can you take photos during your VBS time and submit daily photos to our slideshow coordinator on the same day?

All of our volunteers are required to fill out a background check that the church will submit on your behalf. Please let us know if you have completed a background check with the church in the last 3 years by noting such in the comment box below.
