What a Joyful Day at Grace Covenant!
On Sunday, August 24, our congregation gathered for the Service of Installation for Rev. Karen Wright – a milestone moment celebrating her formal installation as our pastor. The service featured inspiring leadership from guests including Madeline Dasch (Southminster Presbyterian), Rev. Sally Wright (Pastor in the wild), Rev. Scott Philips (Northminster Presbyterian & Moderator of Heartland Presbytery), Kim Carter (Linwood United), Rev. Dale Jackson (Presbyter for Vision & Fellowship, Heartland Presbytery), and Harold Frye.
Rev. Wright shared these heartfelt words: “This is such a special place, and I am deeply grateful to be your pastor. I believe God has much for us to do together in this new season of ministry—work that will grow from the joy, faith, and love that already run so deeply through this congregation.”
Beautiful music from the Chancel Choir filled the sanctuary, and a joyful reception followed in Heartland Hall. Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so meaningful!
