Guest Preacher: Melanie Townsend has been a member of Grace Covenant since 1996 and is currently serving as the the Clerk of Session. She has previously served on Session, served as a Deacon, accompanied children’s choirs, sung in Chancel Choir, sung and played keyboard with Praise Team, served on the Adult Team and Worship Team, led 3rd grade Bible workshops, taught at VBS, and been involved in many other activities at GCPC. Melanie and her husband, Nelson, are parents to two college-aged sons. In her “other” life, Melanie is a structural engineer who has designed bridges in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. This is her first time preaching.
