This service of darkness calls us to remember the depth of God’s love for us in the sacrifice Jesus made for us.  We will prepare our hearts to more fully experience the joy of Easter morning during this moving service. The service concludes with the stripping of the sanctuary and tolling of the bell for each year of the life of Jesus.
